About the bandWe play swedish music in english

Sweet Water Pirates is a band located in Malmo, Sweden. We love music as much as we love small lakes. Jon sings and plays the guitar/ukulele while Stellan plays the bass. Funky Frans is hammering the drums and Jocke, the saxofon jazzman, plays the electric guitar and sings the ohhhhhh parts. When we are in luck our beloved Karin, well known from such songs as "I'm a butterfly" and "Do you still need me?", plays sweet sweet notes on the "piano" as well as other small instruments.

To me this is pure pop music at it's best, according to my definition. And pop music to me is first and foremost about melodies, melodies that flows like honey into my head when I listen.
